January 20th . Dinner at the Apex Hotel in Edinburgh. On Saturday morning we are visiting some of Edinburgh’s art galleries.

June 4. Thirlestane Castle. Borders Vintage Automobile Club annual extravaganza at Lauder. All Alvis cars welcome. Please contact Margaret Fairburn.

June 8th to 17th. Scottish Section German Tour. Leaving from Rosyth to Zeebrugge then on to Bensheim for a few days followed by a few days at Xanten.

July 8th & 9th. Glamis Castle Extravaganza. Please contact Peter Martin.

August 11/12 & 13th. Scottish Alvis Weekend. This year we aregoing to be based at Inveraray Castle, the home of the Duke of Argyll. There will be concours and driving tests. Hopefully some chance to drive private roads on a once in a lifetime oppertunity. We will be staying at the Stonefield castle hotel.

September 17th Ladies Day in Glasgow. Lunch at the House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park. Pay homage to CR Mackintosh at the Glasgow College of Art and hit the shops. www.houseforanartlover.co.uk

October 25/26 & 27th.North West Highland Tour of Scotland.An autumn tour when the colours are at their finest. Three overnight stops. Contact Robin Johnston.

November 5th. Enjoy the fireworks at our AGM. To be held at the Huntingtower Hotel in Perth. AGM commences at 2-00pm. Numbers for lunch to Edgar Shields.
